#8 End of Summer

Ah, another beautiful Michigan summer coming to an end.  Here are a few things that remind me of the end of summer.

Juicy Michigan grown tomatoes are enjoyed at the end of summer.

An empty beach at the end of summer. It was drizzling when I was there and it was so quiet,
I sat on the picnic table with my umbrella and just took the whole scene in for a few minutes.
Lens 18-200mm - 18mm / F10 / SS1/250 / ISO 200

Wearing warmer clothes to golf at the end of summer.

The marina was full with boats getting winterized at the end of summer.

The last geranium bud on the deck at the end of summer.

Interesting concept - take off your 50mm lens and turn it
around and hand hold it in place to take a pic.
It has a very shallow depth of field.
No readings since the lens wasn't connected to the camera.

#7 Church Doors (9/12/13)

Okay, I admit I got caught up in the beauty of church doors and started scouting around downtown Ann Arbor, and Dexter (Chelsea had no pretty church doors, can you believe it?).

St Joseph Catholic Church, Dexter, MI

St Andrew Episcopal Church, Ann Arbor

St. Andrew's bell tower - it was so unique and endearing

St Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, Ann Arbor

St Paul Lutheran, Ann Arbor

and let us not forget the road less traveled leads to...
